BFRB Moms Support Group

The BFRB (body-focused repetitive behaviors) Moms Support Group is a free, welcoming, safe online space for adults who have trichotillomania, dermatillomania, and/or other BFRBs to receive and give support. The group is a peer-led support group led by other moms who also have BFRBs.

What to expect?

Each group starts with a support group co-host reading through our code of conduct. After we have gone through our spiel, we will break up into smaller groups so we can maintain groups no larger than 8-9 people. This allows for each member, who wishes to speak, space to speak about their BFRB. After everyone has shared, our co-hosts will open up the floor to reflect on someone’s share. This is also the perfect time to ask any questions you have.

About 10 minutes to the end, everyone will be reunited into a larger group, where we have a final closing activity and share any updates to the group.

Below is the link to our code of conduct and some commonly asked questions. Please review both and if you don’t see your question, please email us!

Please review our code of conduct prior to your first meeting. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email us!
